Filip Živanović

He gained substantial experience as an in-house counsel at Energoprojekt Group, one of Southeastern Europe’s largest construction and engineering firms, renowned for designing and executing complex construction projects worldwide. Filip joined Nikcevic & Kapor in 2020.

He has been involved in a wide range of domestic and international infrastructure and facility projects, including those in Russia, Kazakhstan, Algeria, Nigeria, Hungary, and across the Balkan region. His responsibilities encompassed contract negotiations, review and drafting, contract administration, claim management, and providing comprehensive legal advice on insurance and tax matters.

Filip also provides a broad range of legal services in matters related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and banking and finance, with a particular emphasis on cross-border transactions.

Filip is currently pursuing a PhD in insurance law at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and is completing postgraduate studies in tax consultancy. He is an active author, and regularly publishes articles on FIDIC contracts and insurance law.

He is fluent in English and Russian.
