The founders of the firm were in-house lawyers for one of the largest international companies in Southeast Europe, working on projects across more than 25 markets, including Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Cyprus, UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Georgia, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Rwanda, and others. Our Journey and Values
Nikcevic & Kapor was founded in 2019 by Jovan Nikčević, after nearly 15 years spent in a corporation, operating across multiple continents and markets. Jovan’s experience was primarily focused on FIDIC contracts, construction, energy and arbitration, establishing these areas as the foundation of our practice supported by in-house FIDIC experts.
Shortly after, Vlado Kapor joined as a partner, expanding the firm’s expertise into real estate, litigation, and permitting. As our firm grew faster than expected, we added specialists in M&A, capital markets, employment, and other branches of commercial law.
