Last Friday, Nikcevic I Kapor had the pleasure of co-hosting, together with UDRUŽENJE ZA STEČAJNO PRAVO (USP), the conference “Digital Assets as a Subject of Enforcement”, held at the amphitheatre of the National Bank of Serbia.
Our colleague Aleksandar Tijanic moderated the first panel, where Nataša Katanić (National Bank of Serbia), Uroš Popović (Komisija za hartije od vrednosti), Dragoljub Sretenovic (BDK Advokati) and Dušan Petrović (Crypto12) discussed the regulatory framework governing digital assets.
A special highlight of the conference was a lecture by Dr. Christian Koller, Professor of Civil Procedure at the University of Vienna, titled “Digital Assets in Enforcement and Insolvency”.
The second panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Mirjana Radović with the focus on the complex practical issues surrounding enforcement against digital assets. The panel featured Prof. dr Nenad Tešić (Pravni fakultet Univerziteta u Beogradu / University of Belgrade Faculty of Law), Aija Lejniece (Counsel), Duška Maslovara (Commercial Court in Belgrade) and Zarko Dimitrijevic (Public Enforcement Agent).
We would like to thank all speakers, moderators, and participants, while extending special gratitude to the National Bank of Serbia for its support and hospitality.
