Last week, Belgrade hosted the 4th ICC Belgrade Infrastructure and Dispute Resolution Conference, bringing together leading construction, energy and infrastructure, and dispute resolution professionals from the region and beyond.
This year’s edition focused on regional energy and construction topics, as well as on the efficiency of arbitration in infrastructure disputes.
Jovan Nikcevic participated as a speaker on Panel III: The Elusive Goal of Streamlining Proceedings: What are the best new (and old) tools for efficient arbitration?, addressing practical tools and approaches aimed at improving procedural efficiency in arbitration.
Along with Jovan, the panel featured:
• Urs Weber-Stecher, Independent Arbitrator and Mediator, Zurich
• William Hooker, Partner, Alston & Bird, London
• Sanja Manasijevski, Senior Director of Legal Affairs, Compliance and M&A West Balkans, Hemofarm A.D., Belgrade
Moderated by Ziva Filipic, Managing Counsel, ICC Arbitration
Many thanks to ICC International Court of Arbitration, ICC Arbitration and ICC Serbia for organizing another excellent event and to all participants for a thoughtful and engaging discussion!
