Vasilije Grgurević

Vasilije joined Nikčević Kapor in 2026 from one of the leading law firms in Central and Eastern Europe. He focuses on international arbitration and complex disputes, with broad experience advising on banking, finance and corporate transactions across the Western Balkans.

He represents clients in investment treaty and commercial arbitration proceedings under the ICSID, ICC, LCIA, VIAC and UNCITRAL arbitration rules. He has experience in DAB proceedings under FIDIC-based contracts and has acted in disputes spanning the construction, energy, telecommunications, real estate and financial services sectors.

Vasilije has extensive experience advising on complex corporate and financing transactions, including multi-million EUR loan facilities and bond transactions for major international investment banks, as well as high-profile development projects and M&A mandates in the region. He brings this transactional depth to disputes involving financial instruments, corporate structures and regulated industries.

He is admitted to the Montenegrin Bar and advises clients across the region. He holds an LL.M. in Finance from the Goethe University Frankfurt and an LL.M. in International Business Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, in addition to a postgraduate specialist diploma and an LL.B. from the University of Montenegro.
