Nikcevic I Kapor was proud to co-host the Investment Forum “Serbia as a Destination for Swedish Capital” in Belgrade, together with Nordic Business Alliance and the Embassy of Sweden in Serbia.
The forum brought together business leaders, policymakers, and legal experts around a shared question: how can Serbia’s EU integration path, ongoing regulatory reforms, and expanding market create real opportunities for Swedish investors?
The conversations were substantive. Participants explored:
– What legal certainty and transparency mean in practice for foreign direct investment?
– How to strengthen and modernize the bilateral Serbia–Sweden investment framework?
– Research placing Serbia among the most attractive EU candidate markets for Swedish capital.
– The role of political stability and alignment with EU standards in building durable investor confidence.
For us, these conversations matter. Ties between Serbia and the Nordic region are built through exactly this kind of open, expert dialogue, not just agreements on paper.
